Congratulations to the Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark, the 2024 Kia WNBA Rookie of the Year.

Playing in all 40 games for the Fever, the No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft averaged 19.2 points, a league-leading 8.4 assists and 5.7 rebounds per game. Clark’s 8.4 assists were the fifth-highest per game average in league history, while she established a new single-game assists record with 19 on July 17 and the new single-season mark for total assists with 337. In leading the league with 122 3-pointers made, she also set a new rookie-record for 3s in a single season. Clark additionally recorded the first (and second) triple-double by a rookie in WNBA history, with a 19-point, 12-rebound and 13-assist effort in early July followed by a 24-point, 10-rebound and 10-assist performance in early September.

Those record-breaking performances, among others, resulted in Clark being voted a starer for the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game. She also was named Eastern Conference Player of the Month for August, captured three-straight Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors and was the Rookie of the Month in May, July, August and September.

Clark earned 66 of 67 votes from a national media panel. The Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese received the other vote. Clark’s award win gives the Fever back-to-back Rookies of the Year, as Aliyah Boston won the award unanimously last season.

Clark and Reese also headline the All-Rookie Team. They’re joined by the Los Angeles Sparks’ Rickea Jackson, New York Liberty’s Leonie Fiebich and Sky’s Kamilla Cardoso.
