It shouldn’t be shocking to anyone that My Chemical Romance quickly sold out their Long Live The Black Parade tour so quickly. The band even added a second Los Angeles date, but that also sold out as quickly as it was announced. We’re crossing our fingers that all of our honeybees were able to secure tickets to the dates they wanted to attend. Our hive is in full-blown setlist manifestation mode now though. And a question we can’t stop asking ourselves – is what b-sides from The Black Parade might we hear on this tour? We have some ideas and must-haves to discuss, so let’s buzz right in!

‘Heaven Help Us’

This one feels like a gospel to us every time we hear it. Especially when the bridge hits, and we absolutely need to sing it with our entire chest while our hands are in the air. My Chemical Romance has played this song as recently as 2022 during their Reunion Tour at the Kia Forum in LA. Not just once, but twice in five shows…makes you think, doesn’t it?

‘My Way Home Is Through You’

There’s something so addicting about ‘My Way Home Is Through You.’ It might be the grit of Gerard’s vocals paired with the guitars, or it could just be the entire masterpiece itself. We just know that we know our way home is through hearing this song live. My Chemical Romance may not have played this track since 2008, but hey, they also hadn’t played the entirety of The Black Parade since 2007 until this year!

‘Desolation Row’

The best part of the 2009 Watchman remake for many of us was the cover of ‘Desolation Row’ by Bob Dylan My Chemical Romance was kind enough to make for us. Some would maybe even go as far as to say that the music video for this track rewired their brain chemistry…and sure this song came out after The Black Parade era had come to its end. But it lives within that timeline for sure, as does arguably Conventional Weapons, but that’s for another article. The band did play this during the Bullets night of their run of shows at The Forum. So that means they got a taste of how absolutely insane we’d go if we heard it live again!

‘All The Angels’

Truthfully, when we found out My Chemical Romance played this during The Black Parade night at The Forum we could barely lift our jaws off the floor. So we can’t even imagine what would happen if we were actually in the room this time if they added it to this tour’s setlist. Our fingers are so crossed that we can tell you what it feels like after our show date!

‘Kill All Your Friends’

The way we feel about ‘Kill All Your Friends’ can and should be studied in a lab somewhere. This song went diamond in the backseat of our mom’s 2006 Pontiac Vibe because it is an entire vibe. We are on our hands and knees begging MCR to add this one to the setlist.
