Rap’s king and rap’s legend, Kendrick Lamar, is running on a high. After the release of ‘Not Like Us,’ we’ve been waiting to see what Kendrick would do next. On a random Tuesday in November, Kendrick dropped a new full project, GNX. The entire world went quiet and put their headphones on. To no surprise, the project was a complete success and gave us some of our new favorite Kendrick songs, including ‘squabble up.’
For us fangirls who love visuals, we got lucky because Kendrick just dropped a music video for ‘squabble up.’ To celebrate the new release, we’re compiling our top 10 favorite Kendrick Lamar music videos (in no particular order).
‘Squabble Up’
Coming in at 10 million views, we know that number is going to grow by the day. This video gives us everything we love about the West Coast, including the dancing and the fashion. Once again, Kendrick gave us a music video for the history books.
‘I’
90 million views is just not enough! The ‘i’ music video is not the most popular, but we know OG Kendrick fans adore this song and this visual.
‘ELEMENT’
Those who get it, get it, including the 128 million people who have already seen it. ‘ELEMENT’ will go down in music history, including this music video that proves why Kendrick is one of the best.
‘Humble’
Did you know this video has 1 billion views? But, that should be no surprise. We could easily argue that it’s one of the best music videos ever made.
‘King Kunta’
One of our favorite Kendrick Lamar songs! This song is stuck on a constant loop in our minds and lives rent-free on our rap playlists.
‘God Is Gangsta’
Can we get Kendrick to act in a movie? He may not be an official actor, but we can see the love and dedication that he has for his craft in this music video.
‘Swimming Pools (Drank)’
It’s not a hive party without this iconic Kendrick Lamar track!
‘N95’
You didn’t think we’d forget about this one, did you? It’s a fan favorite, so you know we had to include it on our top-ten list! ‘N95’ will go down in rap history…
‘These Walls’
If these walls could talk, they’d tell us we’re listening to too much Kendrick music. Oops! One thing we’ll always do is watch the ‘These Walls’ music video.
‘DNA’
We’re ending on a high note! ‘DNA’ is everyone’s favorite rap song, including ours. The music video makes us love the song even more. Would it be bad to admit that the hive makes up almost half of the video’s 265 million views?
