CRAVITY
CRAVITY made us absolutely and instantly obsessed with ‘Now or Never.’ That pre-chorus is the ultimate hook, and that’s when we knew we’d be down bad for this release. There’s always a need for motivational songs, and with this title track, we feel inspired to go all in when it comes to our goals, big or small. It’s really ‘Now or Never’ with life; we can’t procrastinate on things that are important to us. Watch us replay this whenever we need a little boost and want to jam out to this banger. ‘Now or Never’ is definitely one of our top title tracks from the group so far. We’re in love with the whole single album, FIND THE ORBIT, so make sure you check out ‘Secret’ and ‘Horizon.’

TREASURE
Treasure is back with a new single that’ll make you miss those long summer nights as a teenager! ‘Last Night’ is an energetic track about those nights spent with your crush or hanging out with the right person. It felt so freeing and created these fond memories you don’t want to let go. And we especially love seeing the boys running around and having fun in the music video. ‘Last Night’ has quickly become one of our favorite Treasure songs!

ONEUS
Every time ONEUS releases music, we know that it will be a bop before we even hear it. The way we’re just not wrong. ‘Rupert’s drop’ confirmed our suspicions: it’s really a beautiful piece and if you’re not already all over it, go go go! Attractive, powerful vocals created another epic musical piece that grows more impactful as the song continues. We don’t know how they do it, but ONEUS is always on their A-game when it comes to their releases. ‘Rupert’s drop’ is one of our favorite December drops, and we don’t accept anything but praise for it. This song will be on all our winter playlists from now on!

LEE DAEHWI
December brought us a collab we didn’t know how much we needed. AB6IX‘s very own LEE DAEHWI, working with the talented GRASS on ‘SATELLITE,’ made it what we were most excited about. The two singers’ vocals harmonize so perfectly that we feel like we’re having a heavenly experience. The cute message is also making us feel all soft inside. The comparison to a satellite orbiting the person of one’s interest, just hoping to be noticed without being able to approach, gives us a romantic feeling of longing and hope. We’re so in love with this single that we can feel its pull for us to keep pressing the replay button.

This one is a real holiday treat! 100RED features a stellar artists lineup under the label ONE HUNDRED that came together to make our holiday season unforgettable. We absolutely lost it seeing LEE SEUNG GI, TAEMIN, BAEKHYUN, XIUMIN, CHEN, HA SUNG WOON, VIVIZ, LEE MU JIN, BADVILLAIN, and BE’O working on this special single. The artists’ vocals blend so well together, creating a magical experience for an evenly magical time of the year. ‘The Last Christmas’ is a gift we will always treasure. While its music video has a rather grim story, it strongly relays a very important message we sometimes forget: “Love as if it’s the last time.” And what better time to be reminded of that than around Christmas time?

Next on our December K-POP HOTSPOT is YOUNITE‘s new single album, Y! Packed with three lovely songs, these boys blessed us with the best gift this holiday season. ‘TASTE’ is an addictive title track with a catchy beat and chorus. Everyone in YOUNITE shines in the music video, and the choreography eats. You won’t want to skip any song on this single because ‘Perfume’ and ‘Episode’ are equally title track-worthy. Don’t keep sleeping on these boys!

Okay, this might be one of the most iconic duos in 2024! NCT Mark and Lee Youngji have joined forces on his new banger, ‘Fraktsiya!’ Mark doesn’t hold back on his hard-hitting lyrics, and we love that for him. Youngji matches the vibe so well! Not only did KARD already bless THP’s K-Pop team with their seventh mini-album and an exclusive interview, but they decided to drop an incredible single before the year ended, too! Their fourth digital single, ‘Detox,’ is our forever mood going into 2025. KARD sings about focusing on healing, loving yourself, and eliminating anything that brings you down. ‘Detox’ belongs in your good vibes playlist, and the instrumental quickly soothes us.

We weren’t sure if and when we’d get another release from BANG&JUNG&YOO&MOON, but December was filled with surprises and miracles! The boys graced us with a beautiful holiday album, Christmas With You, the best present we could have asked for. The title track, ‘Christmas With You,’ teleports us into a cozy setting to match the spirit of the festive season. In addition to the gentle vocals and the lovely song, we got an absolutely adorable music video to go with them. The animation featuring the matoki gives us the visual of a warm Christmas: a lovely way to bring joy to our hearts. The whole special Christmas album carries the holiday season within, so, of course, it was part of our celebrations, as well.

OH MY GIRL HYOJUNG
If you need more K-Pop holiday songs, OH MY GIRL‘s Hyojung just released her new single, ‘Hot December!’ Three seconds into the song, we already feel transported into a lovely gift shop. The chill, city-pop melody is perfect, and Hyojung’s vocals suit this genre so well. Her smile already warms our December, but this song makes it even brighter! And we love to see it.

Dreamcatcher‘s special single album wasn’t on our 2024 K-Pop Hotspot bingo board. But we’re so thankful for it, nonetheless! ‘My Christmas Sweet Love’ has Dreamcatcher’s signature sound with festive flair if you need some Christmas rock in your playlists. These girls also bless us with two new caroling versions of their iconic songs: ‘Jazz Bar’ and ‘Wonderland!’ We didn’t think these songs could be any better, but Dreamcatcher has exceeded our expectations.

We’re alternating from feeling jolly to crying our eyes out this December. But what else is new? Fromis_9‘s latest song, ‘from,’ absolutely tugs on our heartstrings with its nostalgic and hopeful sound. It feels so second-gen that we don’t know what to do with ourselves. This track will be the group’s last song before their contracts expire. We’ll miss fromis_9 so much more than we can say, but we’ll forever treasure the time we got to listen to these girls sing.

ONEWE couldn’t let 2024 end without giving fans exactly what we wanted! Their special album, Secret Santa, feels even more special with all five members back together. Listening to their new song, ‘WE X MAS,’ feels like a warm and comforting hug. And what do you mean we finally get to hear Kanghyun AND Harin SING? We’re living our dream right now and never want to wake up! Oh, how we wish we could’ve been at the concert where they first performed this song.

Something about this month’s K-Pop boy group comebacks hits us in our feels! GHOST9‘s new single, ‘Down For You,’ is the best present we could’ve asked for. It’s a super sweet and refreshing song with an equally adorable music video. Seeing the different behind-the-scenes clips of the boys really put us in our feels. The surprise K-Pop presents keep on coming! HUI‘s new single album, WHU IS KEVIN, is the perfect winter release. He dropped a live clip of the ballad, ‘Spring in the Winter,’ and we haven’t been able to stop listening since! His vocals are no joke. Like, do y’all hear those high notes?! We love ONE PACT‘s music so much: it has a distinct color that stole our hearts. So, guess how thrilled we were to hear they were releasing a Christmas single. ‘Everyday X-MAS’ keeps that ONE PACT sound and charm while infused with holiday tunes. An emotional piece that we have the urge to listen to over and over, and that’s what we’re planning to do! If you see us playing ‘Everyday X-MAS’ throughout the year (yes, even in summer), know we’re stuck living every day at Christmas.
