Get ready, PADO! Big Ocean is embarking on a new era, and this one includes a tour! As the trio fastly approaches their one-year anniversary (doesn’t time fly?), they plan to celebrate in the best way they know how: with music and their adoring fans.

Releasing on their one-year anniversary, Big Ocean’s new mini-album, Underwater, is said to reveal a new and unexpected side to the Hard-of-Hearing trio, who aim to change the perception of disability and music in general. And both the album and anniversary align perfectly with Big Ocean’s first-ever tour!

Throughout their first year of debut, Big Ocean has worked tirelessly to introduce themselves to the world and make their mark in the K-POP world. Since debuting with their single, ‘Glow,’ they have accumulated over 1 million followers on social media, with TikTok being their most profound platform. The members spent many of their early days of debut going live on the video-sharing platform to connect with PADO and give them an insightful look at their lives as rookie idols in real time, while creating a unique and strong bond with their fandom. PADO is a small but mighty fandom that continues to grow every day. The members continue to charm everyone they meet and give a fresh perspective on K-POP and the music industry. They later released their debut mini-album, FOLLOW, which made our Top 50 Albums of 2024 and included a collaboration with DAY6’s Young K.

Signed under Parastar Entertainment, they have a different and non-traditional approach to how K-POP groups typically run, surprising even the most veteran of K-POP fans with how things are run. It’s exciting and new, creating curiosity for those wanting to learn more while also being inclusive regarding disability. A great example is fan chants, which are a mix of speaking and signing, as well as “start signals” that involve PADO helping signal to the members when the song starts to begin their performance.

Chanyeon, Hyunjin, and Jiseok are embarking on a six-date tour across four countries in Europe, including London and Paris, where PADO will have the chance to see their beloved boys up close and personal as they set out on the road for the first time. The tour kicks off in Lausanne, Switzerland, at Polymanga, one of Europe’s longest-running conventions, which is also celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Fans will have the chance to meet the members informally and attend the concert, which is included in the ticket price of the convention.
