Lando Norris finished fastest in the third and final practice session ahead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, fractionally quicker than team mate Oscar Piastri as McLaren dominated.

Having won three out of four Grands Prix this season, the McLaren duo were well clear in Free Practice 3 at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, Norris’ 1m 27.489s set in the final 10 minutes of the one-hour session.

Piastri was 0.024s further back with George Russell’s Mercedes best of the rest in third, 0.627s off Norris’ time, as reigning World Champion Max Verstappen claimed fourth, more than eight tenths behind.

Team mate Yuki Tsunoda finished ninth, three tenths behind Verstappen, having missed the opening part of proceedings as his Red Bull team finished repairing his RB21 following the Japanese driver’s crash in Friday’s FP2 session.
