We’ve been counting down the seconds for new Broadside ever since they dropped Hotel Bleu back in November 2023 (and yes, we covered every minute of that release). So you can imagine how thrilled we are that the wait is finally over—because today, the band hit us with a surprise new single: “I Think They Know!”
No teasers, no countdown—just a sudden drop that proves Broadside isn’t slowing down anytime soon. The track bursts with the same heart and urgency fans have come to love, but with a fresh edge that hints at even more evolution from the band. It’s bold, it’s anthemic, and it’s exactly the kind of surprise we didn’t know we needed.

Starting a New Chapter
New isn’t the only thing Broadside has in store for us! Alongside ‘I Think They Know,’ the band has also announced their official signing to Thriller Records. Joining THP faves, Honey Revenge and The Home Team. This marks the beginning of a bold new era for the band, full of energy, ambition, and no holding back. And we’re going to be here for every second of it!

‘I Think They Know’
Back to ‘I Think They Know’—what else can we say besides… We’re. Absolutely. Obsessed. This track marks such a refreshing and exciting shift for Broadside, leaning into a more experimental, jazzy sound that feels both unexpected and totally natural. It dives deep into the disorienting world of social anxiety and imposter syndrome but creates this perfect combination that keeps you coming back for more. It’s honest, bold, and feels like a huge step forward for the band.
This song is about feeling out of place, even in familiar settings. Imposter syndrome takes over and consumes the over-thinker.”
Frontman Ollie Baxxter on ‘I Think They Know’
One thing about Broadside? They’re always going to be able to take the most gut-wrenching songs you’ve ever heard and turn them into certified a$$ shakers. And as predicted, ‘I Think They Know’ is emotional, relatable, and somehow still… you guessed it.. a certified a$$ shaker. It’s one of those songs that sticks with you, not just because of how it sounds, but because of how it feels. If this is what Broadside has in store, we seriously can’t wait for what’s next.
