My colleagues at Vox.com have been among the media chorus calling for United States Vice President Kamala Harris to do more interviews with the press ahead of the 2024 U.S. presidential election, and it would appear their calls have been heard.

According to Max Tani of Semafor, not only did the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee do an appearance on Wisconsin Public Radio, she also recorded an interview with two of the most esteemed journalists of our time: former NBA players Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, for their “All the Smoke” podcast.

This is, obviously, huge news. Not only do prospective voters have the right to know Harris’ stances on cornerstone policy discussions like “Are the Knicks real contenders?” they also should be privy to her opinions on historical issues, such as if watching Barnes, Jackson and the rest of the “We Believe” crew upset the Dallas Mavericks in 2007 affected her view of Dirk Nowitzki’s legacy. Most of all, the public deserves to have her remind us who she thinks casuals forget was a bucket, and what her welcome to the NBA moment was.

It is unknown as of right now when the episode with Harris will drop, but hopefully it will answer all these burning questions and more… or at least let us know which member of the “We Believe” Warriors was Harris’ favorite (any answer other than Monta Ellis should, frankly, be disqualifying).

We’ll find out when it airs, and you can keep an eye out for it on their YouTube channel.
