Boo! The bees are buzzing with Brooklyn fair, honeycomb crunchies are stuffed in every hive, and if you look into our grinning pumpkin-carved buckets, you’ll find the spookiest treat: concert tickets. Yep, you may have cast a good luck spell to escape the horrors of a ticketing waiting room, but there’s no way to flee from the touring bug. So welcome back to another Soundcheck Recap, and from the three is the magic number Ashe to a newly solo artist illusion with Damiano David; we’ve got so many crooning crawlers to get through!
Palm Tree Festival
Sure, graveyards might be the ultimate destination for spook enthusiasts, but our Ouija boards prefer to spell out the sandy beaches of Australia! With a scorching sun blasting through any ghost (not to mention slip-slop-slapping themselves with sunscreen and thongs), it’s a no-wormy-brainer that the Palm Tree Festival is the hot spot. Sprawling in performers like The Chainsmokers and Daya over three nights in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne, December can’t get here quickly enough. So use your The Flash-cosplayed speed to snag remaining tickets—like their VIP options—for the best seaside haunting that’s anything but dead boring.

Pete Murray
When ‘Better Days’ broke out onto the airwaves, Pete Murray was actually staring longingly into his crystal ball, predicting the giant, clowning grin that would spiral across our faces upon attending the ‘Wouldn’t It Be Good’ Summer Tour. Saying “nah” is not a part of Aussie slang when there are many dates in various hotels across Australia (everyone knows these venues are five-starred Ghostbusters-approved) to choose from.

Damiano David
A skeleton may’ve sprung to life in its crypt, spreading open a newspaper just to catch the news: Damiano David, frontman of Måneskin’s coven, is now a solo artist! But that doesn’t mean that his gothic eyeshadow days are behind him. That’s probably one of the least likely surprises, the top being glamorizing an audience at New York’s Le Poisson Rouge, serving up tasty tunes such as ‘Silverlines,’ ‘Born With A Broken Heart,’ and a cute serenade to his girlfriend, Dove Cameron.

Ashe
Picture this: plucking daisy petals and casting shadow puppets onto the walls. If you think we’re rattling off steps to conjure a tripling of our favorite artist’s spell, your witchy nose must be wiggling! As soon as you chant “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo,” three Ashes will appear. And, hey—think you can’t possibly tell them apart? They’re all wearing different shirts linked up to the collection of albums that spell out her name when assembled: Ashlyn, Rae, and Willson. So, with only a few pendulum swings, we’ll find our latest dazzler. The three-act extravaganza will be traveling across America and Canada next May (with only a few remaining tickets), and we secretly hope there’s enough magical panache left in the cauldron for some international shows.

The Coronas
Have you ever thought about what vamps do once they clear their nest? Per The Vampire Diaries’s rulebook, they throw up the peace sign to the Salvatore boarding house and pack up their suitcases—spilling out with blood bags—venturing off to a new town. Or, er, country, in this case—Irish band The Coronas are as bright as they come. Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney cling to that garlic as the boys prowl under a bright red moon this month. Sydney’s already packed with a sold-out crowd, so keep a stake near your side just in case your moral enemy grabs a ticket to the other shows before you do.

The Kid LAROI
Celebrities putting on Aussie accents can be downright frightful. So, luckily, Sydney-born The Kid LAROI has got it naturally perfected and is surely sprouting the slang for his arena-slated shows this month. Initially, the tour was scheduled for February, but as that’s showbiz, baby things go, he’s had to move it. No worries, we’re still up for a ripper time, with even the option for meet and greet tickets still available—we promise we won’t come dressed as him.
