The first match of the 5-Test Border-Gavaskar series between India and Australia is being played today at the Optus Stadium in Perth. India won the toss and chose to bat first. The highest scorer for India was debutant Nitish Reddy, who made 41 runs, followed by Rishabh Pant with 37 runs.
