If you weren’t able to grab tickets to see Turnover perform Peripheral Vision in full when they announced a limited tour recently, don’t worry! Due to the overwhelming demand, the band has announced a full US Tour to celebrate this landmark album. And if you thought it couldn’t get any better, hold on to your stingers, because it can and does. The support for the tour includes none other than Balance & Composure, Citizen, Tigers Jaw, Horse Jumper of Love, and Keep! Stacked as a lineup can get, are we right or are we right?

Get Ready To Cut Your Fingers Off

It’s safe to say that our heads are spinning from this announcement. We’re grateful to have more opportunities to capitalize off the 10-year anniversary of Peripheral Vision and put a Turnover tour on our calendars! To celebrate, we want to talk more about what songs we’re most excited to hear live this upcoming Spring.

‘Diazepam’

There isn’t a single lyric on Peripheral Vision that we aren’t excited to hear Turnover bring to life. But ‘Diazepam’ has some that live rent-free in our mind, unlike the others. “I know you’re probably sick, of always sorting me out. It’s like I’ve always got the taste of orange nails in my mouth.” Literally, pens in the chat.

‘I Would Hate You If I Could’

The experience of missing someone so badly you wish you could hate them to make the pain hurt a little less is unfortunately a far more universal experience than we’d like it to be. But that does mean this will hit home so hard when we cry as we, and countless others, dance along.

‘Humming’

This song is always ‘Humming’ through our heads. We half want this song to be how someone in our life views us, but also half how we want to live our lives. Unaffected, illustrated, and always with a reason to smile.

‘Like Slow Disappearing’

This is one of our personal favorites from the album. And the idea of hearing it live has us in a frenzy because it’s something we hadn’t even considered until they announced the first limited run of shows. But we need to sing, “I was afraid, but you were glowing like the most relieving light.” with our entire chests immediately.

‘Dizzy On The Comedown’

How could we not be insanely pumped to hear this masterpiece? This is a staple in the scene, and their setlist, for a reason. We’ll be dancing with our hands in the air to this one in the audience if you need us.
