We’ve been obsessed with Loossemble since their debut last year, and in less than a year, they’ve given us nothing but flawless, gorgeous music. Their newest comeback with their third mini-album, TTYL, is just that and more. We can say without a doubt that this is their best release to date, a statement to their longevity as a group, and a perfect way to celebrate their one-year anniversary as a 5-member group. Let’s just say that if you’re not listening to Loossemble, you’re seriously missing out.

The Title Track

Loossemble know how to bring fun, joy, and glamour to life with music. ‘TTYL’ is the prime example of it. This song represents Loossemble’s sweetest side, all while expressing their overflowing confidence. This perfect mixture is truly something unique to them. ‘TTYL’ is the definition of catchiness with its witty lyrics and infectious melodies. The girls sound incredible, and the track’s production makes it even more addictive. The visuals elevate the song even more, with strange yet beautiful scenes and a unique aesthetic. ‘TTYL’ might seem like a simple bubblegum pop song at first, but the layers of its production, vocals, and vibe make it an unforgettable banger.

The B-sides

While the title track is enough to get obsessed over, one of the main reasons we consider this their best release is the flawless b-sides. Without a single exception, they can all be considered pop perfection with their gorgeous, satisfying melodies and catchy hooks. Loossemble is doing everything right in TTYL.

‘FANATICISM’ is the intro track that lures us into the TTYL universe. But ‘Cotton Candy’ is the first b-side and an instant highlight. Its retro-pop sound fits perfectly with ‘TTYL’ and the group. With a luring pre-chorus, the chorus’s energy is simply unforgettable and catchy. It’s one of those tracks you can’t help but go back to because of the atmosphere it creates and simply how good it is. ‘Confessions’ follows through that magical atmosphere. It’s the perfect complement to ‘Cotton Candy.’ With a striking bass line, ‘Confessions’ is a fun, groovy track you won’t be able to keep out of your mind.

While ‘Hocus Pocus’ does stay in that same retro, pink glitter type of feeling, it has a much brighter energy to it. As they sing about preferring to stay friends with someone, ‘Hocus Pocus’ is a fun, carefree song that feels refreshing and another kind of joyful. TTYL wraps up with one of their best songs yet: ‘Secret Diary.’ The soft beginning already sets it apart from the rest of the mini-album, but what makes it even more special is the secretive, mysterious atmosphere it creates with the inclusion of string instruments. Add that luring atmosphere to their stunning vocals, and you get once again pop perfection.

Three releases in, it is a fact that Loossemble never disappoints. TTYL is another skipless mini-album showcasing the best of the girls, their wit, unique energy, and gorgeous vocals. From Loossemble and One of a Kind to TTYL, Loossemble had a banger of a rookie year, and we can’t wait to see them grow even more and continue to serve pop perfection.
